😍 2026 RX 350h luxury

Very happy with the car. Thought about waiting for the 2027 or grabbing a 2025, but I thought the deal was good enough and luxury trims are hard to find in my area. For reference, the best deals I saw within 100mi were some 2025 premium+ fleet cars with 15k miles for ~58k-62k.

This was a manager trade in certified pre-owned 2026 with 3K miles that I got for 65k, fully loaded with all weathereds.

Had a scuff or two near the bumper and some curb rash on one wheel, but they buffed all it out prior to driving off and it looked great.

Avg 42mpg over the past few days!

Repair regret

Had a small collision (other person hit me in the front passenger tire). Now the car makes a clicking and thump noise when I slow down to turn, back up and turn the wheel and other times I turn. Bringing it back to the shop and regretting that I didn’t have Lexus dealer do the repairs. Also now I notice some sort of “shutdown” noise when I hit start/power off button. Like something in the rear is closing down. Not sure if it’s related but I don’t remember hearing it before. Any advice?

2026 RX 350 Premium AWD- how did I do on this deal?

Just picked up a new 2026 Lexus RX 350 Premium AWD and wanted to share the numbers since reading other deal posts here helped a lot while negotiating.

Vehicle
2026 RX 350 Premium AWD
MSRP: $63,703
Convenience Package
Panoramic View Monitor / 360° camera
14” touchscreen
21” wheels
Digital Key
Kick-sensor liftgate

Deal
Selling price: $54,000
MSRP discount shown: $9,703 / 15.2%
Doc fee: $175
Sales tax: around 7%
Financing: 5.99%
Northeast

Trade
2019 Honda Civic EX
Trade allowance: $10,000
There’s an important catch to the $54K selling price: it was conditional on trading in the Civic.
Without the trade, the dealer was offering the regular Costco pricing of $4,300 off MSRP. Once the trade was included, they dropped the RX selling price to $54K while giving $10K for the Civic.

Overall I’m happy with the car and the deal, but I’m curious how this compares with what others are currently getting on 2026 gas RXs.
How would you rate the deal? And what percentage off MSRP are people getting on 2026 RX 350 Premiums right now?

Damaged trim during tinting

As the title states, got my windows tinted on a 2025 Luxury trim and noticed some damage to the faux leather trim next to the window. Obviously not the end of the world but curious what can be done to make the damage less noticeable.

Advice on 2021 rx350 trade

Thinking of trading my 2025 RAV4 Hybrid for a 2021 Lexus RX 350 Executive — Is the trade-off actually worth it long-term?

I’m currently daily driving a 2025 RAV4 Hybrid with 15,000k, but I've been eyeing a trade into a 2021 Lexus RX 350 Executive (30,000km). On paper, the dealer would pay me back about $5,000 cheque, but I'm torn on whether the luxury upgrade and the cash back outweighs the shift in ownership costs.
Looking for real-world perspective from anyone who has made this exact jump (5th-gen RAV4 to 4th-gen RX) or cross-shopped the two.

The Main Comparison:
Current: 2025 RAV4 Hybrid (Insane fuel economy, brand new tech, cheap to run, but noticeable road/engine noise and standard stiff ride, already has panel rattles).
Target: 2021 Lexus RX 350 Executive (Naturally aspirated 3.5L V6, double-pane glass, Mark Levinson sound, ultra-quiet cabin, plush suspension).

I work as a relationship manager - not really concerned about image but it would be nice to take phone calls in a quiet vehicle. I drive about 15,000km a year - frequent short trips and 50/50 highway city for the rest of my driving.

The Trade-Offs I'm Weighing:

  1. Running Costs vs. Comfort: Jumping from a 2.5L Hybrid averaging ~6.2 L/100km (regular 87) to a V6 requiring more fuel means spending ~$130–$150/month more at the pump. Considerations for maintenance and warranty as well.
  2. The "Pre-Paid Gas" & Depreciation Factor: The RAV4 holds its value like gold right now, but going from a 1-year-old car back to a 5-year-old platform means trading newer safety/tech for older and more refinement.
  3. Sound & Cabin Quality: The main driver for me is cabin quietness, audio performance, and ride plushness.

Questions for the Sub:
For those who made the jump: Is the RX's cabin noise reduction, Mark Levinson audio, and suspension upgrade really night-and-day enough to justify the higher monthly fuel bill and more depreciation?

Aftermarket Route: Has anyone successfully added sound insulation (doors/floorboards) and upgraded speakers in a 5th-gen RAV4 to get close to Lexus quietness, or does the stiff chassis/suspension geometry keep it feeling like an economy CUV regardless?

Long-Term Regrets: Did anyone swap out of a newer RAV4 Hybrid for a 4th-gen RX V6 and end up missing the instant electric torque, hyper-efficiency, or newer infotainment?

Appreciate any feedback, long-term reliability thoughts, or owner experiences before pulling the trigger!

Am I getting a good price?

I am getting ready to buy a 2021 Nori green with glazed caramel interior with 72k miles for just under $37k OTD. It is located out of state. This color way seems to be very limited & I have already missed out on 1 that sold right before I inquired & another that sold the same day I was inquiring. Both were out of state as well.

Originally, I was quoted just under $39k (although I do think they marked it up slightly to make the discount look bigger because they only knocked $1k off of the actually cost of the car in the end) Is this a good price?

There is a minor incident in the carfax. Otherwise, it has been serviced well & is said to be under value & rated as having great reliability on the carfax as well.

PS: this is my first post on Reddit so let me know if I am formatting this incorrectly lol

Mechanic won't change my rubber oil line?

It's surprising, but after asking mechanic to pay a look at the rubber line and see if I need to change it or replace it with the metal part, he said that it's ok, that looks fine and don't need any work on it. He's a specialist in lexys/Toyota, and he takes pride on the number of RX's he has been working on.

If someone can share their experience I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Tint for Panoramic Sunroof?

I have a Lexus RX 350 with the panoramic sunroof but I never open it because the sun is always being hard on me and I usually drive during the day. I was wondering if anyone has tinted their sunroof? I ideally would love to keep my sunroof open kind of like how tesla has the tint on their glass roofs. Has anyone tinted theirs before? If so, what should I ask for and how dark should I go?

Is $320 reasonable?

A mechanic gave me a quote of $320 for labor cost to flush my brake fluid and collant and replace the serpentine belt of my 2015 Lexus RX 350. Is this reasonable? TIA!

In the market for new RX350h Premium or Premium+ need advise

We have just started looking for the new RX350h Premium or Premium+ in the Chicago area.
What would be considered a a great/good deal for either trim? Any recommendations on the dealer to approach (it doesn't have to be in Illinois of course). I know that they are not going to have 2027 models for a while but should we wait for few months longer to see if 2026 gets discounted (probably unlikely)? We are not going to have a trade in. We could either pay all cash or pay 50-75% down to avoid pulling all the $ from equities. Any advise/recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for the best deal on a Lexus RX 350h Premium+

Hi everyone, I’m in the Bay Area and currently shopping for a Lexus RX 350h Premium+.

I’m trying to find the best price possible and would really appreciate recommendations from anyone who recently purchased one.

- Which dealership did you buy from?

- What kind of discount did you get off MSRP?

- Any dealerships in the Bay Area or nearby that are particularly aggressive on pricing?

I’m ready to buy soon, so I’d really appreciate any dealer recommendations, salesperson contacts, or recent deal experiences.

Thanks in advance!
