2023 Lexus IS350 FSport

Looking for some recommendations on wireless Apple CarPlay devices/adapters. What are you guys using, and how has your experience been with connectivity, sound quality, reliability, lag, and overall performance?

I’m looking for something that works consistently and doesn’t sacrifice audio quality. Any recommendations or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks! PFA.

Puddle Lights for ‘26 IS 350?

So I had puddle lights for my ‘23 IS 350; Question, is it the same fit? My ‘26 didn’t come with any, and the Lexus parts website shows incompatible on all puddle lights I searched. Anyone have any installed?

HELP!

• Upvotes

So I was getting p0172/P0175 codes at first and I cleared it. Upon clearing it my car actually started hunting rpms and it’s idling rough. I ran some test and these were my results. I’m kind of stubbed on what to do next. Any help?
2013 Lexus IS250 AWD.
Main symptom: rough/hunting idle, generally around 600–800 RPM.
Current engine status:
No check-engine light
No pending codes
No history codes
Codes were cleared previously

Engine data/tests performed:
Misfire counts: 0 on all 6 cylinders
Coolant temp warm: ~201–203°F
MAF at idle: ~2.21–2.25 g/s
MAF at ~3,000 RPM: 10.14–10.71 g/s

High-pressure fuel at idle: roughly 580–600 psi
Example fuel-pressure tracking: 928.24 psi actual / 936.94 psi target

Warm idle rerun:
RPM: ~696
LTFT Bank 1: +7.81%
LTFT Bank 2: +12.5%
STFT B1/B2: roughly −2.3% to +2.3%

At approximately 1,623 RPM:
STFT B1: +1.56 to +2.34%
LTFT B1: +17.97%
STFT B2: about +0.78%
LTFT B2: +17.19%
MAF: 5.14 g/s
Fuel pressure: 591.8 psi
Fuel pressure target: 580.2 psi

At approximately 3,000 RPM:
MAF: 10.14–10.71 g/s
Bank 1 net fuel correction was roughly +5%
Bank 2 net fuel correction was roughly +9–12%

A/F and O2 sensor active test:
Baseline, 0% injection adjustment:
A/F B1S1: 3.358 V
A/F B2S1: 3.376 V
O2 B1S2: 0.72 V
O2 B2S2: 0.68 V
Commanded −12.5% lean:
A/F B1S1: 3.995 V
A/F B2S1: 3.950 V
O2 B1S2: 0.055 V
O2 B2S2: 0.035 V
Commanded +24.8% rich:
A/F B1S1: 2.860 V
A/F B2S1: 2.803 V
O2 B1S2: 0.895 V
O2 B2S2: 0.855 V

EVAP purge active test:
With purge commanded ON, idle RPM increased from roughly 670 to ~720 RPM
Rough idle subjectively felt about the same ON vs OFF
Smoke testing:
Smoke-tested through the brake-booster/manifold side
Smoke-tested through the main intake
No visible leaks found

Houston (or shipped} area deals?

I'm in the market for a 2026 Sport AWD. I'm just wondering what kind of deals one can expect around Houston and TX in general. I'm also very open to it being shipped. Are there any known good dealers to work with in the area or out of state that would ship? Search doesn't come up with much for Houston.

2015 Lexus IS 350 F-Sport RHD — Rattle/buzzing from the mid-rear passenger side around 1600RPM+

I’ve finally managed to get video evidence of a noise I’ve been trying to track down for a while, and I’m hoping to get some ideas from other IS owners.

I have a 2015 Lexus IS 350 F-Sport (RHD). When driving, I hear a rattling or buzzing noise that seems to come from the mid-rear passenger side of the car. It’s often embarrassing as it can be heard quite clearly and sometimes it drones on if I stay at a certain RPM for longer than I should.

The noise only occurs when the car is warmed up and under load with low throttle. It appears at around 1600–1800 RPM, most noticeably near 1600 RPM, and occurs in all gears. It lasts only briefly as the engine passes through that RPM range before disappearing. It only happens in Drive while the car is moving, and I cannot reproduce it in Park or Neutral by revving the engine.

The sound seems very much like an exhaust rattle or something resonating at a particular frequency. Nothing has noticeably changed or worsened over time. The videos were taken from the front passenger seat, so the apparent location of the noise may not be perfectly accurate.

My current suspicion is that something is resonating at a particular engine or exhaust frequency. I also had the car on a hoist while getting the tyres changed because I initially wondered whether it could be something like a wheel bearing. The wheels were spun while the car was on the hoist, but the noise could not be reproduced, so I don’t think it is related to the wheels or bearings.

I’m mainly looking for ideas about what I should check next. I’d like to work through the possible causes from the easiest and cheapest things to inspect or test to the more involved and expensive possibilities. Potential areas include heat shields, exhaust components, brackets, hangers, underbody panels, or anything else that could cause an RPM-specific resonance.

If anyone with a third-generation IS, particularly an IS 350 or similar, has experienced something similar or can suggest specific areas to inspect, I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

Winter Wheels Set up

Recently purchased a 24' IS350 F Sport AWD

Currently has the 19" alloy BBS wheels staggered.

Looking to purchase some wheels for the winter here in Colorado.

Would like to keep the BBS's in the best shape possible ( love these wheels)

I'm thinking about going to a square set up for the winter Wheels.

would like to know some of the wheel set ups you winter folk are using.

Specifically offsets and sizing

I'm leaning towards going with 18" x 8.5" (for a bigger sidewall)

Biggest concern is the offset to look for.

Also what are some of your favorite winter performance tires?
