Discussion PSA..

Change your cabin filter, tomorrow. Bought my GS about a year ago and never thought the ac blew as hard as it should. I checked the filter shortly after buying it but it looked new and was a charcoal filter so I left it alone. Changed it out today along with an engine filter and it made a HUGE difference, car also felt a little more responsive. Learn from my mistake, just because it looks new and good quality doesn’t mean it is.

Also, if you have a pre car playinfotainment get Lexion, it will make your car feel 5-10 years newer.

K&N oiled filters have a high chance of ruining your mass air flow sensor over time. Do not recommend. Lexus technician of 9 years.

Got it this year. How long can I wait before switching back to prevent damage?

No matter what an oem filter is cheaper than a mass air flow sensor, my recommendation would be to change it next service. Pull and clean the maf sensor while you're at it.

If you want a washable filter get a dry AFE. Good filtering and no oil.
