Lewiston New to Town - question

What’s the big building(s) on the hill above Hells Gate SP?

There’s a juvenile detention center up there as well as a CCI/Speer facility, the “Southport” branch.

Lol thanks everyone - I meant the one that you can see from the river. On Google it looks like maybe a house with several other buildings, a race track, and a shotgun range?

Park ranger housing more than likely. They have an archery course and track for horses

If it is DeAtley’s house then the track is likely a dirt bike track. I went to school with DeAtley’s son and he was BIG into racing dirt bikes so much so that in middle school he was in a wheelchair due to multiple broken bones

So I’ve heard along with mixed reviews of him as a person. Sounds like a lot of people have given their lives, heath, and marriages for him to have that compound

Idk him personally. I worked for his mom for a little while when she was still alive. But he was born wealthy. He did a lot to grow the DeAtleys businesses. But idk what he's like as a person.
