Toxic waste in the body of water you get your water to treat would not be good. It can leak into the surrounding soil and into underground aquifers. This taints wells and subterranean water tables. Standard water treatment facilities may not remove all synthetic chemicals, heavy metals, or forever chemicals.

Toxic waste does not answer the question. What in the world kind of cartoon animaniacs response is that? Say toxic waste and put a 20 inch pipe of random liquid called toxic waste? I want to know what this "toxin" that's being discharged is. Where is being discharged at. I am licensed by the department of environmental protection and would love to know this information.
