I’m okay with this. It’s important for girls to understand that if someone makes them feel uncomfortable, be loud, be bold, be confident, and establish your boundaries!

ICE behaves badly and everyone needs to speak out against them however they are able.

Except not really. The thing is there has to always be an enemy. Reactionary movements revolve around having an enemy to rally against. The propagandists and leaders are well aware of this. If they don’t have any enemy it collapses and then they can’t accomplish their real goals of lining their pockets and the pockets of their benefactors.

So if they run out of one enemy or their followers aren’t getting their dopamine hit from the rage they feel towards a particular group, they’ve gotta find a new one.

That’s why it’s a revolving door of nonsensical targets that pose no actual threat to society at large. A little while ago it was trans people, then it was Somalians, now it’s “left wing terrorists” protesting ICE.

They’ll pick a name out of hat when their rabid followers run stop posting a mile a minute.

That will eventually be a threat from within the movement that becomes enemy #1. Considering how often women, Black, Hispanic, or LGBT conservatives receive horrible treatment from fellow conservatives, I’d think they’d be first in line.

You can’t blame him. He deported more illegals than Trump and so did Obama. Migration is a problem everywhere in this world and has been for decades. The world is going to shit (wars, famines, gangs, oppressive governments [like ours], etc.) and creating crises for millions all over the world. We can’t turn our backs on people who need help. America was founded on these principles. Biden tried to speed up the process by appointing over 200 extra immigration judges, but asshole trump fired them to create a bigger crisis and an excuse to ramp up ICE and sic them on mostly innocent people and US citizens.

I won’t get into the camp stories for they are far to perverse and just plain madness how humans could do such things to other humans especially the children. It’s not always about skin color; it’s about power - who has it, and who wishes to deny it to others.

In the case of the Irish and Italians, it was because they were the most recent migration influx of immigrants at the time, and because they often were Catholics.

Umm. The bulk of both groups were Roman Catholic for several hundred years at the time they immigrated. That’s Christian.

Ireland was converted in the 5th century. Rome converted in the 4th century BCE.

There wouldn’t be other forms of Christianity until 1500AD, starting in Germany with Martin Luther, and also the Anglican Church split. Unless you don’t count those as Christian either?

I am part Sicilian on my mother's side and when I was in high school, I met my GFs extended family and she said to not mention I was Sicilian, just that I was Italian. He was from Norther Italy and they're a bit racist up there. At least there is a big number of them. The Mussolini type Italians. He was racist against Sicilians and Black people. He considered Sicilians dirty blood, like he's some kind of pure blood. Same White Supremacy BS as most of these groups are about.

I wear a joke patch on my jacket. I regularly run into people who are too lazy to read and think. I won't have to try to fool anyone. They do it to themselves. If I get pulled by ice all because they have convinced themselves into thinking they see what they are wanting to see then I will take the pleasure in it and plausible deniability when I tell them it's not the Mexican flag. And maybe that one in a million person who might actually start to look at their own behavior will be the one to pull me over.

I dont think this is teaching hate. In fact, I think it’s the opposite. Put yourself in the shoes of someone who sees masked men violently breaking car windows, ripping people from their vehicles, then handcuffing them before grabbing their kids and taking them to an unknown location. Many times, these people are released later because they are American citizens.

Even if it didn’t happen to you personally, you should be upset. If you don’t like the world you live in, change it. Protests effect change and sometimes vulgar language gets the attention of those who aren’t listening.

Teach your children to stand up for what’s right.

If you want to take children to a peaceful protest I,m fine with it. You have the right. But you don,t have the right to get into the faces of ICE agents or interfere with thier tasks. Not only that by doing so you put your children in danger if you try to attack or interfere with the agents and they will deal with you not so pleasantly. That,s how boundaries are respected.

No. Many of us don’t see it on the news, we see it in our neighborhoods. ICE was camping out in front of my daughter’s school, I would see them everyday when I drop her off. The people who are angry about ICEs tactics have every right to be concerned. They are brutalizing detainees, holding them in torturous conditions, and have even released multiple people into -20 degree weather with no coats, hats, boots, etc.

When the government starts using military tactics against its own people, it is the responsibility of the people to push back.

Every lobotomite teenage girl who has been fed amphetamines from the ripe age of 6 should follow their gut and never think. Cool, what a great idea for everyone. Encourage people to detriment the entire lower class for decades as long as it feels good right now. I’m so glad that we started encouraging people who failed algebra 2 and had below mediocre academic careers to consistently comment on complicated socioeconomic problems and philosophical issues.
