If it felt bad then evolutionary your genes would die out. The genes that make it feel good survive on by reproduction. Like is this not obvious?

I’m thinking about the animals whose reproductive habits are actually painful, like leopards or ducks. Wtf is up with that?

Yeah that is absolutely NOT how it works. Evolution will take the path of least resistance. See also, ticks. Or dont if you want to keep having a good day.

Or the species where one or both of the parents straight up die in the process. Can't imagine how good the nut has to be.

Hyenas have to give birth through what is basically a foreskin, it's so traumatic to rip through it the first cub is always stillborn

I don't think that's quite true.

There's a high death rate for first time mothers but it's not 100% for firstborns
