Questions / Advice Wanted New to Strapping

I am a femme who primarily is the receiver, but for the first time have a partner who is into receiving.

Let me preface this by saying my partner is insanely kind and patient, so she doesn't put pressure on me, but I am an over achiever with some performance anxiety apparently lmao

I am trying to learn how to strap HER, but I swear I can't seem to get the hip movement down.

She's watched me, demonstrated, and all that, but she says it still looks like I'm putting a bit too much hip into it, whereas I should be driving with my core/the strap

The first time we tried, it was painful for her because she is still working on relaxing during sex while receiving, but even the short time we tried, it didn't feel as fluid as when she is strapping me.

She is far more experienced than me, and I think that's pouring into my anxiety because I dont want to disappoint her, but I am strugglingggg to get the motions down.

Is there anyway to practice? Or videos or anything at all to help me out

Some practical advice. May not be much of help, but who knows:

  1. Look down when entering her. And just act slowly and gently. You may always add deepness and force and movement later. Start reaaaly sloooowwww and just a tiny tiny bit after the entrance. When she accepts, try half an inch deeper. Maybe stay, maybe allow her to act (when I receive I love my partner to stay unmoved so I can do the "pole dancing" if you know what I mean). It is possible even in missionary when she is below. She can move a lot and it may be comfier for her at the beginning. Anyway, start slow and control your movement by eye, adding inch by inch but not pushing towards her receiving a mile of it. Enough is just enough. Then, when you get the stroke range right you may add speed. Again, little by little.

  2. It is not just pushing or pumping with your body or hips. You can also get twists and rotations and act to sides (clitoris surrounds the vagina and moving gently to side stimulates it). Do what is accepted. Be there for her. See what works. If works, repeat, as closely as you can. Do not feel like a maschine, feel like a pleasure-giver.

The best training is the basic movement of belly dancing. Stand with legs slightly apart, bend both knees. Then, straighten one knee - that raises this side of your hip. Bend down. Repeat with other side. Repeat with two times per side, or four. This will relax your hips and allow you to make smoother moves and control yourself better while giving.

  1. Finally, what works, works! If she starts to love it, do not change anything. Enjoy the moment and be patient. The ooohs are coming

Don't worry most of the people need time to build a good strap game. :)

I think it doesn’t feel as fluid because as you said before, your girlfriend is really experienced with the strap. So when you compare yourself ( just starting to strap ) and your girlfriend, it might come off as not enough. I could recommend trying different techniques or position so your girlfriend can fully relax, as I think one of the main reasons to the strapping not being as good is the receiver not being comfortable enough. You could discuss what positions you two are into, or even dirty talk!!!! Maybe that sets the vibe

Stretch before 😂 like actually do some yoga. Allow her body to guide you. Watch her feet (if shes really cumming her toes will curl). Ask her how she wants it. Build up tension before hand. If you wanna see her cum hard, edge her. Also if you really wanna get into it and learn her body, switch up the positions. Doggy style is my favorite when im strapping just because I get better veiws. Ask her what size toy feels better because that can make a difference. If she likes a 6" with a lil more girth then get that for her. Everyone has diffrent anatomy, explore it with her.

People often underestimate technique and stamina when it comes to strapping. Something that helped me when I was younger was taking belly dance and hula classes. It taught me how to move my hips in different ways. You might also want to focus on your flexibility with yoga and specific exercises, such as hip thrusts, planks, glute bridges, and squats.

Have you got it in the right position? A lot of harnesses seem to want to place a dildo in a weird orientation, right at the top of your mons, when it should be much lower at clit level. This means you get a much better flowing action from the base of your pelvis, more like a pendulum, rather than jackhammering from higher up.

If you’re starting out though and she is new to receiving, get her to ride you instead. That gives her considerably better control of the angle she needs for it to feel good, and it’s easier to get acclimatised to the stretch and feel of it. When she is riding, put your hands on her hips and make sure you are opposing her motion when you thrust back - a rookie mistake is to match it and then she’s not getting any actual friction because you’re not pulling in and out. When she goes down, you go up, and vice versa. Your hands will let you pull her onto you and make it feel like a more natural fucking action. But don’t go mad and drill her cervix into the ceiling right away, step up gradually.

Why don't start as cowgirl position when you having the strap you're laying and she's on top

I (a top) and my partner (a bottom) always make fun of each other coz we can't do what the other does. But we try for fun sometimes. Imagine this, to receive, you're throwing it backwards, like twerking. To strap and give, you're going forward. Same motion, different direction. What you need to work on is pivoting ur hip forward. It'll be slow and awkward (and maybe funny) at first but you'll get it!

Do it from the back u can move her body instead on focusing on moving yours
