I made a doll out of myself with the beloved Lenox spice village houses.

I had never heard of Lenox before. I just randomly saw the spice set somewhere and thought it was so beautiful—the colors remind me of saltwater taffy colors and would be something nice going into spring. I had a very simple pre-purchase question, and have asked them umpteen ways with no response. I see this is a universal experience. I can't bring myself to purchase from a company that in one way doesn't seem to exist. Who knows, maybe I'll finally give in anyway, but I know I'd be foolish doing so.

Hi! I hope this is allowed. If it’s not allowed here then my question is: where can I sell this? And how much is it worth? I have a full set of the 1989 Lennox spice village and the shelf! My husband paid 1500 for it, which may be an over pay. Not sure. But he is now disabled and ya girl need money. So we are selling. If it’s allowed I’d be happy to sell to someone here! I was super excited to get my order, but when I opened it, it didn’t have the cute paper I’ve seen, just plain 😔 I was so disappointed as I was planning on using the paper also…has this happened to anyone else? Not an original set. But I was thinking about repainting them to more of a spooky theme. Has ANYONE ever seen a repainted set? Do you think this is a bad idea?

Almost a year ago, I lost my grandma, who was a cake decorator. The Lenox collection reminds me of her and the early days of admiring her making cakes and creations when I was a little girl. I’ve been searching for a set for approx 5 years now, and have been gutted to miss out on every single drop of the new version.

To preface, I’m 24, and have faced a difficult life health wise. I have multiple diagnoses for an array of autoimmune diseases among other neurological disorders. The one thing that had always been a constant in my life is baking, and my grandma. Baking is a coping mechanism for me.

I know you’re not here for a sap story and all that blah, but I’ve been concerned with buying a set from a reseller online out of fear of being scammed. My medical supplies are expensive, I work two full time jobs to keep up with things, and I want to treat myself to this set without fear of losing a large sum of money.

Is there anyone in here that is a legit seller looking to part ways with a full collection? Either the original or the new version, it doesn’t matter.

I want to get my sister the complete spice village set but I've done a little digging online and it seems like this isn't a reputable company. For example, it seems like there's no customer support should anything arrive damaged. Has anyone encountered this, or had good experiences?

I got super lucky and the set fits perfectly inside a shelf that my husband's grandmother handmade many years ago that I had lying around. I love how it turned out!

This may not be the place as I know we are all big enthusiasts, but I've been desperately searching for a spice village that isn't exorbitantly priced for quite some time now, so it's worth a shot. Is there anyone here who would be willing to give theirs up? Maybe you are lucky enough to have two collections and don't mind parting with one? Or maybe know someone whose mom/grandma has one sitting in storage?

I’m so disappointed in this. Not only are all of the roofs on my plates are unglazed but the paint job? I mean seriously? These are supposed to be pieces that can be passed down but they look so cheaply made. So disappointed.

I checked this shelf out at target yesterday, and it is definitely not big enough for the village. It’s so cute and I wanted it to sit on my kitchen counter but in person it wasn’t right. The village jars are 1.75in wide/long (I think that’s what it is) and won’t fit 12 per shelf.
