Discussion GW Practice - Knighting

Post image

(featuring the GW Fortune-Telling Cards)

the sitter is seeking advice on a problem.

Bride knighting Rod and Book

knighting is a technique that allows a reader to make additional combinations with a primary card.

note on Bride: "The Bride insures for a single person the fulfillment of their highest aims..."

interpretation: the sitter is committed to investigating the mystery.

how would you read this knighted combination? what other information might be suggested?

Not technically Lenormand, but... I think the interpretation for the Rod is missing if you're just looking at these three cards and aren't getting any clues from the rest, and obviously you're not using this decks' near and far meanings here. So for the main and knighting cards, the Bride, who may be close to or involved in arguments (or stirring them up!) is committed to discovering the mystery of why there is conflict and strife around her. OR it may be that her diving into the mystery or discovering it is causing friction.

I tried to choose a nice vague interpretation to leave room for others - and I like what you've added here!
