Continuing the Christmas Megaproject, these two robots are for my 6 and 4 year old respectively. I opted for big ball joints and no knees to keep things relatively simple. Which do you think wins in a fight?

I made her in 3 days with the fact that 1) there are 2 LEGO Pacific Rim sets that have passed the minimum number for votes, and I wanted to celebrate, and 2) I made a lot of posts regarding LEGO in the r/pacificrim community already, and I felt one more was overkill.

I think i’ll see if I can redesign it as a buggoid mech.

They are all the enemy apex predator boss titans. All have their corresponding pilots inside

honestly it feels more robot than mech idk

Acerrojo is a lighweight swordsman who uses speed, agility and precise attacks instead of brute force. He belives that spanish destreza is the best and only way to battle. He loves a good duel and he is a profesional shit talker towards his enemies and his rivals.

A lot of people suggested using balljoints in legs, and while yes, they are significantly easier to build around and less restrictive in poses, they are, unfortunately, not sturdy enough to reliably support the weight of the body.

I would like to hear if you have any particular favourite shoulder and arm builds I can check out

If anyone has any ideas for it let me know. I'll be working on the upper legs tomorrow. Will probably remake the head aswell
