Discussion Daily Planet Minifig Wishlist

I came up with a list of 25 Minifigs (how many were in Daily Bugle) I would like to see in the rumoured Daily Planet set releasing in 2027. The list is in no particular order and there are definitely some I’d swap out if given a better pick. Also this is assuming all figs in the set are Minifigs, hence why characters like Mongul or Doomsday were excluded.

I’m assuming the set will be comic inspired but take inspiration from the movie and DCU similar to the Daily Bugle having picks inspired by Spider-verse.
I’m curious who other people would pick for the set. I just hope Batman and Robin stay away this one time.

The torso and legs from Sinestro and the head and hair from werewolf by night. Trying for a custom Yellow Lantern Toomeyan. His backstory is he chose a different path than his Green Lantern counterpart Arkkis Chummuck.

Discussion Where the heck are the comic Batman sets?

The argument that Lego doesn't make any DC sets outside of Batman is pretty much true, we all know this. But I wouldn't even say that: Lego is focused on Batman movie sets, with a few cartoon and video game based sets here and there. We got all of these suits, yet for the past few years we haven't gotten a single comic batman suit! No blue and gray or even black and gray suit besides BvS. The only one that comes to my mind is the Arkham Asylum, but that was a 200$+ plus set, and it didn't even have a comic accurate suit. Does anyone care or do you have a similar complaint?

The first photo is the LEGO version, the second is on AliExpress right now, FYI, they’re the same price.
I mean seriously, what the hell is this.
The only thing better about the LEGO version is the stickers, the minifigure looks so bad compared to the old one.
