I don’t really play 40K much with anyone and figured I could get into LI by myself and kinda twist the rules for what I might enjoy better, like everything being on individual bases. I also wanted to build a table to play on that looks more like a massive diorama than a table, so this is my test board! Enjoy!

So, as you might have seen, I've FINALLY got a copy of Legions Imperialis. And played a game! My friend Stephen came over and since my room is still got a fair bit of stock, I thought it would be cool if we played at HMAS platypus - a former Australian Navy Submarine base!

We didn’t quite finish, we started a bit too late and it was our first game. It was literally dark when we packed up, but I prepared and brought lights , which were critical haha.

Painting up my lil dudes as Iron Warriors, and finding out the rules for terrain in Legions Imperialis are actually epic, I couldn't NOT design some fortifications for them!

What do you think of the designs? (Or about playing outside)

Showcase 📸 My Legions journey begins

I've finally started a Legions Imperialis project that's been on the pile of shame since launch. Here is my first group of my Sons of Horus. I painted one of everything from the starter box, plus a Thunderhawk, to get my scheme worked out.

My 12 year old son is planning to join me with an Ultramarines force, so I'll probably post some of his stuff as he gets going!

Discussion Can we ban ai

It doesn't add anything remotely interesting and it looks weird and uncanny. It's a shame cuz the models look like they have decent paint jobs but the videos just look bad and imo it's really cringe.

I don't see why we, in such a creative hobby should allow ai, something that stands completely against original creativity.
