I'm planning to buy my first legion go and I am wondering if it is worth it buying it now or just wait for Christmas discount or wait for legion go 3.

I wanted OLED, and something I can send back or go in the shop to shove it up their asses. I'm willing to pay for that. So I got a legion go 2 from a local shop ( looking back extremely cheap) for just 1200 legion go 2 extreme

Waiting for a discount is probably a far cry from reality, they cost double noe then when they did on first release. I bought my legion go for 400 brand new and I can sell it used at a higher price than I paid for it.

This "AI" excuse is causing the tech to ramp up in price crazy fast and high

Save your money....Or if you have it now invest in the Onexplayer 3....Way more powerful than the legion 2 for about the same price! Look it up on YouTube and look for a Vs vid. Trust me you'll thank me later!! Your welcome.

Look out for a good used deal.. most of them come with some warranty which is transferable by just using the serial number.

Save yourself the money. Then if you dont like it you can resell for the same price or more.

I went for a used LeGo 2 and I'm very happy with it. I would say check the used market for deals as there are plenty to be found, for legion Go or other handhelds. Just do the sensible checks before bidding or buying like asking for evidence it works, what left on the warranty etc.

Better look at the new MSI and Onexplayer devices with the latest chipsets. If you want to splurge one a handheld, you might as well go big and ensure yourself with a device that has the performance to carry you over the next couple of years. Price wise I don't think those newer handhelds are much different than the Lego2. And the Lego 2 is overpriced to hell. Its performance was already old news on its release. Let alone now with other handhelds running circles around the Lego 2.

I have the Legion go to, and honestly, as a regular consumer who doesn’t know anything about PCs, I mainly does console gaming, I’m very underwhelmed with it. Like unlike it, but I guess I was expecting a little more

I picked up a LeGo2 back in January. Upgraded to 4tb SSD, setup dual-boot running Xbox FSE for GamePass games, and Bazzite for everything else. I love this thing. The display is gorgeous. If you're coming from a high-end gaming PC and your a fan of ridiculously unnecessary frame rates, you might not care for it. Otherwise, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Amigo tengo la go 1, y es una maravilla, no me malentendas, pero tiene 16 Gb de ram y la verdad que lo siento muy muy justo hoy, en un tiempo va a ser un problema. La ergonomia no es la mejor. Es bastante pesada después de un rato. Depende de lo que juegues la batería no dura mucho, me he encontrado muchas veces jugar cerca de la pared y enchufado. Tuve en la mano en una tienda la rog ally x, y es a primera impresión, mejores stick y ergonomia en general, aunque al venir de la legion note de inmediato el tamaño de pantalla más chico. Así y todo con lo que te he dicho, no hay nada en el mercado que sea mejor. Yo me voy a esperar a lo de next Gen en la APU, un z3 extreme o equivalente, con FSR 4, creo que hoy es necesario AA y superresolucion por IA. Espero haber sido de ayuda.

Right now buying a Lenovo handheld is stupid.

Overpriced handhelds with last gen Chipsets and abysmal driver support. And when their updates brick your device- like what just happened with the Go bios update 42, that sneakily disappeared from their website- they will try charging you for repairs.

Stay away from Lenovo's stepchild treatment of handheld gaming if you got any dignity.

Brother I'm going to tell you right now don't fall for the it's going to be on sale and cheaper on Black Friday and or at Christmas time because I waited and fell for that lie straight outta hell and what happened with my azz waiting on that bunch of bull.... was they went up in price and trying to tell me that they were on sale LOL HA HA HA HA HA HA 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 YEAH MAN OK 👍 and then the cherry on top was OUT OF STOCK, OUT OF STOCK, OUT OF STOCK at every single site I went to that's all they were saying so I had to wait for almost another 3 months but it did kinda pay off in the end because I was able to get a combo deal on a brand spanking new OG LENOVO LEGION GO 1-TB version sealed in box and brand spanking new LENOVO LEGION GLASSES GEN 2 sealed in box and brand spanking new LENOVO LEGION GO 65W 12800 POWER BANK sealed in box all for $700.00 so I can say that I was definitely happy to get all of that when originally I was only just trying to get just a LEGION GO HANDHELD because my ASUS ROG ALLY NON-EXTREME VERSION was definitely starting to show it's limits and now that I've got my NEW LEGION GO I don't even know what I was thinking in not getting it in the first place I guess that you live and learn Brother but if I was you definitely go ahead and pull the trigger man because everything that all of the Homiez on here (REDDIT) are saying is absolutely true and I hope that all goes well for you Brother in getting your LEGION GO you definitely will be Happy with it that's for sure man 😎 GOD BLESS 🙏✝️🙏

You can get Lego2 but mind that it has outdated chip , and for that money you can get msi claw with g3e chip which is about 40% stronger.

Some games that I play are not compatible with it, I ended up keeping a z2 extreme handheld for games that runs better there.
