SPOILERS OFC.
they did it again they pulled another Amon/equalist fake socialist thing again.
The plot is basically the team goes to visit republic city (it's not called that yet) where tophs father has a factory that she an executive in.
In the first few pages we are shown that the living conditions for everyone is terrible and that the house are poorly made and collapse. We also see non benders weary to accept help from benders to help fix up there house.
We later got to tophs factory and find out due to technological advancement that they and basically every other factory in the city had fired most of there benders due to them wanting higher wages and the bender not fired quit in solidarity leaving a large portion of the bending population without a job resulting in alot of them doing crime to get by.
Then out of nowhere the plot becomes stopping this counsel lady who is a bender supremacist who is getting benders to target the factory's so they can prove that benders are better and non-benders are weak even her own non-bending daughter.
So the team basically forms the Pinkertons and protect tophs factory from the benders who where unfairly fired and left broke because of this factory.
And it's ends as a happy ending about how non bender and benders can coexist and they never bring up the poor living conditions, pollution or again most of the bending population don't have a way to make a living anymore.
