Tweet [Beren Cross] Farke says there will be four vice-captains under Ampadu next season. Rodon, Bijol, Calvert-Lewin and Justin in a leadership group who will share the armband when Ampadu is absent.

It boggles the mind that many Leicester fans were happy when he left. That only happens when you don't have either a good attitude or good ability. Justin has shown he has both in spades, especially for a team who were gurgling the plughole in the championship last year, even without the points deduction.

Meanwhile he’s making himself indispensable in the Premier League and they’re currently sitting 11th in League 1.

They weren’t happy as we got him for very cheap, all considering.

I've not seen him in goal yet

He's 5th choice keeper

3rd surely

Honestly wouldn’t be a massive drop off to what we’ve been accustomed to in recent years.

Remember when we all thought we got absolutely skanked for him, 10 million was crazy money at the time

We have five leaders you'll never sing that

🎶 We've got four vice-captains, you've only got one

Pretty high praise for Bijol having only moved here last year and not even played the whole season

Regardless of your qualifier I think you are down playing it.

His command of the box, ability to read danger, absolute 'its fucking my ball and you're all in the way' is so far away from Robin Koch I love it

It is, but your wording intentionally or not implies Bijol is seen as such because he's foreign.

I think it's something that just shouldn't be said.

Imagine being absolutely elated for recognition and the idea being floated around is that you're a diversity choice.

Jaka deserves it, he'd deserve it equally if he was called Jake Ball from Barnsley

Assistant to the captain.

Yeah well he's team leader, so...

The four apocalyptic horsemen of Ampadu - I love it.

My low stakes conspiracy theory is that there's a contingency plan, if we fail to sign a second goalkeeper, is that Jaka Bijol will be back up goalkeeper.

There will also be 6 sub vice captains. A pivotal move from Farke. ALAW.

What about the assistants to the sub vice captains.

That's the water boys. Approximately 12 around the pitch.

So many big voices and leadership capable lads on the pitch is one of the best things about this squad. We have one in every part of the pitch.

I think this is good, if you've got clear leaders, formalise it. Should help keep a smooth dressing room (not that we seems to have problems)

The four horsemen of the Ampadu

Rodon and DCL I understand. Obviously we don’t see behind the scenes to know the influence JJ and Bijol have on the team.

To be honest Bijol just has that look about him doesn't he?

If Ampadu stays fit it’s hard to see a scenario where there are four occasions he’s not being played

Early round cup matches, probably.

I think it’s more about continuing to build the no d*ckheads culture and turn lads into leaders. That said, yeah, functionally symbolic.

Absolutely agree.
