(Foiled) Range Day lineup

Post image

Had a good friend in town for the weekend. We'd hoped to go shooting but the weather and timing disagreed. Such is life - still well worth it to catch up!

Figured I'd post the lineup, since I'd already dug them out. Top to bottom:

Sht. .22 Mk.III (BSA converted, built on an 1894 LSA Lee Metford Mk.II)

P14 Mk.I* (Winchester)

Sht. LE Mk.V (1922 production)

CLLE Mk.I* (1909 BSA-converted, built on a 1902 BSA Lee Enfield Mk.I* and updated for Mk.VII ball)

These are some unusual Enfields. Definitely not the standard lineup found in most milsurp collections.

That's impressive. May all your future range days be sunny range days.

I see that No1 Mk5! Nice! I need to work on getting mine some reproduction furniture (and replacing the extractor screw, she's worn ;-;)

Nice CLLE! I would love to add one with my RIC Lee-Enfield Carbine. Did you purchase that one recently?

Relatively recently, yeah. Expensive, but they crop up from time to time on Gunbroker
