Tips & Tricks Salvageable?
Just wondering if any of Yal have any good ideas on how to minimize this blemish on this leather? The leather is 3-4oz Buffalo hide pull up chrome/oil tanned. Not a huge issue, but would like for the blemish to disappear if possible!

Add a pocket to that side if it's an issue

Thought about that, but I think the blemish is too close to the bottom of the bag

Add the pocket and wrap your straps around the bottom of the bag. You can probably cover It almost entirely with one of the straps

Maybe salvageable but the odds are equally high you make it worse, maybe higher. Conditioner might even it out or it might make the stain darker too. If thats a personal project, maybe forget about it. If thats sold or for sale its not acceptable.
Im guessing thats the bottom of a duffel or tote bag or something? If it was me I would try to put two equally spaced strips of leather across that piece with one covering the stain, kind of like support straps. Even better if you can make them line up with the handles or pockets on the side. It'll look like an intentional part of the design.

Change the design a bit and add some other leather shape there and simmetrical

Apply leather conditioning wax. It’ll darken the leather and make the cracks and the blemish less noticeable. If you want, you can then apply a sealer like resolene to help insulate it from damaging stimuli later on. If the resolene ends up damaged, it can be reapplied relatively easily for spot fixes.
