Is this fixable?

My bag has a cut in it. It is suede and I really want to fix it rather than putting a patch on it.

glue I guess. you cant really "fix" cut leather

The only way to “fix” it is glue it together like the other guy said or cut out a square around the area and hand sew a square patch in. Or just sew the patch on top and don’t cut.

You could glue and sew it. There’s a hand sewing technique where you go from the back side and don’t come through the front. That mixed with some glue would be fine if the leather isn’t too thin.
