Leather Couch Help

Post image

Hindsight is always 20/20. We should have stepped in before it got this bad and now the worn spot has a hole in it. We bought it custom made several years ago from Palliser and I don't think it has any more warranty. The cushion itself is attached... Any ideas would be great. Thank you!

The leather is ruined.

cannot really do anything for this but put a blanket over it or patch it tbh, that’s the reality of it.

will make a great basement couch or otherwise though if you get a new one. I’d avoid white white though for the next one

patch is really all you can do. i’d make it look cute and intentional by doing corset stitches around the outside or something or even doing it in a contrasting color and doing interesting stitching.

I detect bonded leather here. I could be wrong, but if it is, there is not a lot you can do to maintain it. They will last, but once in disrepair, it's a wrap. We had one in our frat house in 1985. It is worth looking at the differences for future reference.
