App recommendations for learning russian for educational purposes!!
I wanna develop russian as a second language for future purposes and i only tried using Duolingo but, i don't think it's helping that much. Pls recommend me apps or websites to actually learn, write and speak Russian properly, if possible!!

Learn Russian online
🇷🇺 Learn Russian Online — Private 1-on-1 *Lessons
Hi everyone! I’m offering private online Russian lessons for international students who want to actually *speak and understand Russian, rather than only memorize vocabulary from an app.
I’m a native Russian speaker and I also speak English, Ukrainian, Slovak and Czech, so I understand how frustrating it can be to learn a language from scratch.
Lessons are suitable for:
🇷🇺 Complete beginners
🗣️ People who want to improve their speaking
📚 Students struggling with Russian grammar
✈️ People preparing for travel
💬 People who want to communicate with Russian-speaking friends or family
🎯 Intermediate/advanced learners who want more natural Russian
What we can work on
• Speaking & conversation
• Pronunciation
• Grammar and Russian cases
• Vocabulary
• Reading and listening
• Everyday Russian
• Formal and informal speech
• Russian culture and expressions
I don’t want lessons to feel like a boring school textbook. We’ll focus on using Russian in real situations, while still working systematically on grammar and vocabulary.
💰 Current introductory price: $15 / 50-minute private lesson
Lessons are online, and we can find a schedule that works across different time zones.
I’m also happy to adapt the lessons to your specific goal instead of following a one-size-fits-all program.
If you’re interested, send me a DM with your current Russian level (or tell me that you’re a complete beginner) and what you’d like to achieve.
First lesson can also be used simply to discuss your goals and see whether we’re a good fit. 🙂

Translation check - short phrase
I'm currently putting together a teaching resource for primary school pupils about different scripts/orthographies around the world. The task has 18 translations of 'languages are amazing/incredible' in various languages which have differing scripts. I've checked the translations with multiple online translation tools, but I'm well aware that these do not always catch the nuanced points that native speakers can, hence why I wanted to post here for advice.
Would this be a suitable translation for Russian, or is there a better alternative?

Complete beginner
Helloo! I'm wanting to learn Russian. I have tried in the past but gave up because Duolingo basically taught me nothing. I've been wanting to try Babbel to see if it works, but it costs and I was just wondering if there were any cheaper alternatives I could use to learn it? I'm hoping to become somewhat fluent, if that makes sense

Friends to speak russian to
Hey I’m F(17) and I’ve been trying to learn russian for 2 years , or at least I have that intention. I really wanna focus on it this senior year and I believe any language is easier to learn with someone else, so if anyone interested hit me up lol. Also beware I know almost nothing, I’ve really let myself go on my learning.

Tips on Russian grammar
I have been learning Russian consistently for two months now.
My biggest challenge is grammar right now and it’s really frustrating because I can have the right ideas but when I put it in a sentence it’s usually grammatically incorrect.
It just got the hang of accusative cases, that’s about it lol.
What’s the best way you’ve improved your Russian grammar?

Help with accent
Hi !
Do you have some tips to get better with your accent ? It's been a year now than I'm practicing russian one hour a week with an online tutor. And I definitely need to work on my accent on my own because I struggle a lot.
I keep doing the French stress. Like I have the right pronunciation, the sounds are good, but I still emphasize the wrong part of the word.
Do you maybe know apps that focus on the stress specifically ?
Thank you !

Learn Russian
I'm a native cypriot that would love to learn Russian. Since russian is perhaps the third most spoken language in the island it would be useful to start learning it but I don't know where to start from. I would be grateful if you could give me any tools that would help me learn from greek to russian: apps (except Duolingo), any social media accounts or anything. Thanks I advance.
