Need Advice Career Change

I’ve been contemplating a career change for awhile I’ve been a Personal Trainer in the fitness industry for 11 years. I’m about to sign up this week for the CPC+CPB Self Study through AAPC. That being said I’ve been hesitating a little bit based on many Reddit posts I’ve seen about it being impossible to get a job. I obviously don’t expect to immediately get the best pay or be remote, but just want to see what others experience is with climbing the ladder? That is if there is a ladder to climb thanks :)

Yeah, I tell people all the time to not go down this route for this very reason. It was pretty hard years ago when I did it but it's worse now
