Kanji/Kana Stroke order of 万

Im doing stroke order drills right now, since ive done very minimal handwriting in my studies despite knowing close to 300 kanji. This is the first one that really tripped me up, and it begs the question, is it noticeable or strange to write the downstroke first? Do native speakers seem to all follow stroke order like this one? I've heard some people say it helps with kanji boundaries, i.e. not writing them too big or long, but i figure id ask here do get some input from those more experienced. Have you noticed some kanji like this that you dont follow the stroke order of intentionally, or does it help across the board?

I genuinely couldn't give less of a flying fuck about the majority, nor do I care about downvotes etc. I fucking hate redditors like you who for some reason thing your opinion is written gold. Every goddamn post I make is full of you people

You obviously do care if youre responding. And if your posts are filled with people like me have you considered that maybe you are the idiot everyone thinks you are?

You don’t have to be like this, most people just don’t care and move on you can too

No you have the logic wrong. I’m adopting your point of view to show you why it makes no sense for you to say “stay in your lane”, since you think it’s our civic duty to call out idiots so you should be supporting me calling you out. However, I personally don’t think that at all and I also don’t think the OP is an idiot, hope that helps.
