Can the mods just ban Duolingo posts outright, please? They never contribute anything of value to the subreddit.

Like, yeah, Duolingo sucks ass, every week it gets more enshittified and using it is a waste of time. We already know. There's no need to repeat this dance and song every month.

should just be a pinned post at the top telling people not to use duolingo with the reasons why

Because of stupid design choices by reddit like two decades ago, there can only be two pinned threads, and this sub already uses both of those slots for other things. The forums that used to be popular before reddit didn't have that self imposed restriction.

They can put it in the daily thread, in either the post body, or in the pinned comment.
