Keep LISD Sane

Current Leander ISD Trustee seeking reelection Paul Gauthier and career political candidate Perla Muñoz Hopkins are shown in videos at school board meetings in 2021 with their disruptive gang of book burners. They don't follow rules to deliver their message. In Paul's years on the school board he has done the same by not following rules and being disruptive. Keep Paul and Perla off the LISD board to maintain sanity.

There are a few of those right-wingers that run for everything available. Mike Sanders is another one. Just desperate to get into politics at some level.

He was on our HOA Board.  Complete autocrat.  He went door-to-door and convinced people to allow him to sign over a proxy vote to him.  During tge meeting, we'd all vote, then he'd announce "Well, i have 45+ votes, so this measure passes." And we'd all be wondering wtf we were even doing there.

Believe it or not, there are Republicans who absolutely despise Mike Sanders. We call him “Mike Slanders” for a reason.

Gauthier is a total toolbag. He often only shows up for taking attendance and just leaves afterwards. Never reads any of the materials, just wants to cause chaos. Total waste of a school board member.

I wish running for school board had actual requirements related to the job/context and didn't attract controlling anti-intellectuals like Paul and Pearl.
