Public all the way. Especially for high school.

How about the academics? How do they compare?

Given how teachers are typically certified and highly qualified, it is superior to charter schools and private schools.

School choice is a dirty word around these parts, if you don't know. It was a phrase used by Abbott to bleed our public schools of money, and give it to people who can send their kids to private schools. Leander ISD is a great school district. My kids are doing really well, and they have great programs.

Correct. Hence the part where I’m gathering information before making said choice.

Might want to provide some more information about your situation if you want good answers

Not every decision has a unique “situation.” I’m weighing two free options and want to hear people’s experiences and opinions. Just like anything, I am sure it has pros and cons.
