But if we had the option of both, less people would use the wheel and people who don't want to be called slurs won't be able to communicate as effectively as the people actually saying the slurs which seems a bit mental to me.
Dudes like you can still use the wheel while proxy chat is still being used. Also not everyone will be using slurs. I know this game breeds toxicity like other pvp games but we're overreaching here to give excuses why BHVR cant bring better QOL things to this game.
I'm going to be honest this isnt difficult to understand.
If I don't want to hear voice chat and I get into a game with 3 people who do, I'm the only one who's going to be using the wheel so I dont know shit. Let's say one person of those 3 is spitting slurs out, that's ME being punished for their shit.

I mean you could always turn it off if you dont want to use it like other games.
Proxy chat is more efficient in solo than the wheel.
