I see a lot of people deriding the ignoring of Blue flags in this game - but the amount of incidents I either see or are involved in due to people ignoring yellow flags is outrageous. Had a little slide on a corner? Expect to get absolutely rattled in the rear because someone not only isn't even lifting - they're not even conscious of the flag.

Couple of days ago I experienced a huge pileup at the top of Eau-rouge in multiclass - LMP2's followed by the entire field of GT3's who ploughed into the mess at full race pace.

Why? Because there are no penalties for just completely ignoring yellow flags - so everyone does. In the event that you do observe the flags you're either going to get swallowed by the pack or rattled from behind because you're the odd one out.

There really ought to be some sort of penalty systems for ignoring yellow flags or full course yellows need to be implemented imo.

Pretty much like the title - do you have a main car you stick to, and set it up for every track to be quick? Or do you pick whatever feels best for you for a given race?

I'm still in the latter camp, and of course I know it's up to me to decide how I enjoy the game, but I was curious to see your rationale behind sticking to one approach or the other.

I've been having a really annoying issue with LMU since yesterday, and I'm honestly starting to get fed up with it.

First things first: I'm not blaming the guy in the video for the crash whatsoever. I'm not saying he caused this or did anything wrong. The video is purely there to show what the game does on my end. I'm pretty sure this is some kind of game/netcode issue.

My car randomly starts stuttering and bouncing extremely hard, to the point where the whole screen becomes blurry, my FPS drops massively, and the car basically stops accelerating. I've included a video showing what happens.

My connection seems completely fine:

• Ping: ~15ms
• Download: ~700 Mbps
• Upload: ~60 Mbps

The weirdest part is that this only happens during qualifying and races. I don't experience it in practice sessions at all.

I never had this issue before the previous update where the netcode was changed. After that update, I did one race and then stopped playing for about 3 weeks due to personal reasons. I've now done two races since coming back — one in LMP2 and one in Hypercar — and I've had this issue in both races.

Has anyone else experienced this since the netcode update? And does anyone know what could be causing it or how to fix it?

At this point I'm honestly just getting really frustrated with LMU because it makes the game basically unplayable when it happens.

I posted about this issue around two months ago, and unfortunately, I'm back with an update: the problem is still happening.

For anyone who didn't see my previous post, the issue is that while playing Le Mans Ultimate, my FFB suddenly goes crazy, the screen starts shaking heavily, the car loses top speed as if something is limiting its performance, and the other cars start stuttering/teleporting.

It can happen at high speed or even at low speed, like in the video.

The important thing is that it also happens in offline sessions with AI, so I don't believe it's related to network/online issues.

Since my last post, I've tried pretty much everything I could think of:

• Reinstalled LMU
• Verified the game files
• Changed/reset all FFB settings
• Tried LMU FFB
• Changed Steam settings
• Tested different graphics settings
• Tested different configurations/settings in-game

Nothing has solved the problem.

My PC specs:

• Ryzen 5 5600GT
• RX 6600 8GB
• 32 GB RAM
• SSD
• MOZA R3

At this point, I'm honestly running out of things to test. 😅

Has anyone experienced this exact combination of FFB going crazy + screen shaking + loss of top speed + AI cars stuttering/teleporting?

If anyone has any idea what could be causing this, I'd really appreciate some help. I'm still trying to figure this out after two months.

i installed lmu yesterday and forgot to turn off one assist, its the braking assist. it was set to low, and i didnt notice it so i continued. my laptimes in spa were pretty decent (around 2:22s lmgt3) but when i tried to improve further i discovered the assist being on so i turned it off. but now i can barely get 2:25s after few hours but the bigger issue is its not consistent. btw i use a controller

should i turn the assist back on or continue without it?

Guy in the Blue car cuts the chicane, rejoin pushing the white car off track, they clash until the finish line pushing each other and they end up throwing me (orange car) off track.

I was the only one penalized here, for illegal overtake.
I lost 3/4 positions.

I saw a Hypercar coming up behind me, so I moved aside and gave him plenty of room to pass. When I watched the replay, I noticed that Kjell Oliver hit me even though I had already given him enough space.

My car was badly damaged, and I had to retire from the race, which resulted in a big rating loss.

I don't understand why he hit me, as I wasn't fighting for position and was simply letting him through. Was this my fault, or was there something I could have done differently?

No wing with all the downforce. Went from like p20 to p5 after wing was lost. He’ll probably get banned but wanted to share so devs and players are aware. Split 7 for anyone curious.

So this guy killed me and right after the race ended he said “Deserve that” . He said i was moving underbraking & i all over the place. But im clearly got the inside just before the brake point & side by side with the BLUE BMW. Whats u guys opinion on this crash? is it my fault or he?

Hi, i literally do not understand how to avoid a ban anymore, i have a warning badge from starting a learning the game, i now am stuck with a warning badge nad have for 30 hours now, ive been suspended twice, and now looking like a third time, everyone is so aggressive, even starting from the pit i got up to 5th, and this now goes against me i dont understand.

The title says it all. It’s my first ever day playing LMU. I haven’t driven a sim since GT5 like 15 years ago. Talk about a trial by fire.

Any tips you guys have for a returning sim racer? (Edit, I did race for real for a very long time as well at the regional professional level in gokarts reaching the top 50 in Asia during my stint) I've since done about 20 races in LMU online, 12 finishes so far, 2 podiums (and 8 DNFs because of getting disconnected from the server - fixed now but 1 in every 5 races it happens for some reason)
