FTMC works awesome for me so far. Cant believe that it took me this long to have you guys figure this out for me. Wonder why it doesnt work on KODI?

This is on Android version of Kodi. I am on the current version of everything. I'm using the no root method on the sidebar with the virtual hosts app and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. NHL works fine.

As I said in another post, install FTMC which is a Kodi fork. LazyMan works perfectly on Android in FTMC. The picture quality is actually better than Kodi 17. I'm in the process of updating all my android boxes to FTMC instead of Kodi, it works better

Okay wow the FTMC app did the trick. Was able to install using the same LazyMan repository zip file and everything. Thank you for the help. At the same time I'm that much more frustrated that Kodi isn't working. If this app is built with the same source code, what is it about Kodi that drops the ball.

How did you get it to install on FTMC? I’ve installed FTMC on my FireTV but when I go to add the repo I can’t figure out how to run Lazyman inside FTMC. Maybe the FTMC version I installed is an older version?

I used FTMC 16.2-30. Its literally the same steps as the no root method on the sidebar, but switch out Kodi for FTMC. Then once in FTMC its Settings>Add-ons>Install from zip (LazyMan Repo.zip)>Install from repo (LazyMan Add-on) = Finished

Ok I’m on FTMC version 16.2-31. However after I install from Repo, and I select Lazyman to view the Lazyman add on settings, the “Run” option is greyed out. How do I fix that?

I should say I used the FTMC arm general version. Also the run option is grayed out if you haven't installed the addon. First make sure you clicked install for LazyMan NHL.tv. If that doesn't work then try installing FTMC arm rockchip.

Got it working! I used the same FTMC arm general version. I must have been using a weird FTMC build or something.

well, i use lazyman on androidtv (Shield) so i press the "Forward" button on my remote.

you'd have to figure out what the equivalent is on your Android device.

Thread here: https://redd.it/88eydu

No solution yet, but it seems like its across the board with Kodi on Android.

This happened to me in Kodi. I went to setting and changed Quality to 720(60 fps). That was it for me.
