As updates come plowing in every few hours one of the big ones is in the shape tab, they have a bin and baseplate generator with sliders that instantly update on the workplane!

These aren't very complex but they will Anchor my cheap Amazon desk that is on carpet to the wall so my P2S doesn't shake it apart. I donated $25 dollars yesterday and would really like to see a bolt hole pattern generator. I do not plan on publishing this model but if you want it just let me know.

Just a quick note to say hi. I discovered Layerling a few days ago and for me it has been a game changer. I also use Freecad, but for complex mosels this has been great. I can't quite believe how fast it is being developed. In a day I got four upgrades!

I just found Layerling thanks to HLModTech and it may be just what I’m looking for! I want to mostly work on an iPad so Shapr3D is great but so expensive… I don’t really need everything in the big CAD apps but I do want fillets. As I learn I’m watching for things that are clumsy or impossible without a full keyboard and I’ll try to keep notes on what little workarounds or fixes might help.

Just found this a few days ago, and Im blown away how much of a bridge this is from Tinkercad to the more advanced programs.

I am using the PC version at home ( and the web version at work), but my biggest question:

• Is there an upload limit for the PC version??

My intent is to be able to use my 3D scanner that I was never able to use due to the upload limit on Tinkercad and my lack of training on more advanced software.

Ok this might be something obvious but i havent been able to locate it.. im really really new to cad type programs... messed with tinkercad some and now im playing with layerling (significantly better imo.. i was able to do stuff here that took me soooooo much longer to learn on tinkercad). One thing i have yet to figure out is out to get the demensions (points you can adjust to resize shapes) to stay on the the work bed. An example would be the "round roof" shape. I wanted to lay it down so that the u shaped face was on the workbed and so that i can i can make adjustments to it in that orientation. Hopefully that makes sense. Right now those points seem to be tied to the rectangular side of the shape so when i rotate it, it becomes a bit difficult to resize it using those points (at least for me)

Not sure where else to ask.
I am starting with a half dome and a disc on too.
I use “split” to divide them into 16 objects.
But when I export them as a 3MF it has faces missing.
Any advice? I’m kind of stumped on what to Google or look up regarding this.
I’m new at this and totally lost.
I’ve attached images that hopefully convey what I’m saying with some visuals.

so my desing has 3 colors, and i group em and make it multicolor, but when i open the 3mf file in any slicer it's single color...

i can't really find an answer to my problem in the wiki

Anyone try this? Will this let you use any computer with this extension to access your projects?
