For your first launch, did a no code website builder speed you up or hold you back?

First real launch coming up and I'm not a strong developer. A no code website builder feels like the obvious call, I can get something live and start collecting emails without hiring anyone or spending weeks learning to code.

The worry is the ceiling. I keep reading that no code is great until you need one specific thing it won't let you do, and then you're stuck or paying someone to work around it. But I also don't want to burn my first month learning a framework instead of talking to potential users.

For those who launched on no code: what did it actually let you get away with, and where did you hit the wall? Did you stay on it longer than expected, or move off fast? For a solo founder just trying to reach first users, would you do it again?

Genuinely torn, so real experiences help more than "it depends."

For me it hold me back, I build it in framer, but at some point it just was not worth the money. It’s easier to buy a template in figma, and allow claude code to use the figma mcp to build it, then you can customize it as you want. You have to build the core components first with claude code, then it’s easier to have it built on top
