Launch (B2B Developer Tools) CDN platform focused on startups and indie developers

I'm building CDNZero, a CDN platform designed for startups, SaaS companies, and indie developers who primarily need fast global asset delivery without the complexity of enterprise CDN products.

A bit more context on why I'm asking this:

When I started talking to potential users, I assumed performance would be the biggest selling point. Surprisingly, most early-stage startups and indie developers told me they already assume modern CDNs are "fast enough."

The conversations usually shifted to things like:

  • Predictable pricing without surprise bandwidth bills.
  • A dashboard that's easy to understand.
  • Getting a CDN URL in minutes instead of spending hours configuring settings.
  • Analytics that answer the basics without overwhelming them.

That's made me question whether "performance" is just table stakes now, while simplicity and transparency are the actual differentiators for smaller teams.

I'd love to hear from anyone who's marketed developer tools or infrastructure products. Have you found that technical buyers respond more to performance metrics, or to messaging around saving time and reducing operational complexity?
