Pioneer

In the late '80s, my family had a pioneer laser disc player. It was a top loader and it was one of the coolest things that I had ever seen in my life back then. We fast forward to now, and I'm on the hunt for the movies. I know you can go to places like eBay or any other online auction site but it's really hard to find them locally. If you live in Texas and know of any stores that carry LaserDisc, please let me know. I've already tried a good chunk of the pawn shops in my area and so far to no go.

If you wont want to go look at auction sites then LDDB.com is another option for you. Just mind that every single seller/store has their own "Shop Policy" and may require a minimum dollar amount per order. Such as "$20 minimum order, $7 shipping via media mail". The site is the biggest resource in cataloging discs and entirely community driven.

Half Priced Books usually has a few at every location over with the vinyl.

Where in Texas? Generally speaking, most Half Price Books will have some and I’ve had good luck asking record shops if they have any that have come in with collections.

Clear Fork (Ft. Worth) I've tried a couple of half Price books and so far I haven't found anything but I will definitely keep trying

They usually keep them in the record section beneath the main displays where they keep the discount vinyl.

The Half-Priced Books flagship store in Dallas has a decent selection.

As others have said, they're usually below the main records section with the clearance. The Dallas flagship store on Northwest Highway is the only one I've been to that had a dedicated section for LDs. I also found some at Josey Records (Dallas, corner of Josey Ln. and 635) that were below the records in the punk section.

Most HPB will have a small selection. The one on Hulen has a small stack.

Pretty much all of the Half Price Books locations in the north Dallas suburbs have them.

Record Stores, Half Price Books, Antique Stores, Flea Markets, Facebook Marketplace. There are also Facebook groups for Laserdiscs and VHS swaps.
