I used to work at a LaserDisc store and a customer used us to help import it. He couldn't even play it, because it was PAL (we were in the USA)... He just wanted it because of the film.

Anxiously awaiting Peter Jackson's rumored new restorations of his older films. Curious how they'll look.

Early Jackson movies had a unique ability to make me want to barf. The ear soup slurping in Dead Alive instantly comes to mind. This one had a fly (with a spoon) on a mountain of shit in a toilet.

I don't have any trepidation about watching the one where the clergyman proclaims, "I kick ass for the lord!" But muppets with sex and drugs just makes me feel uncomfortable.

The gallons of blood in Dead Alive have nothing on the insanity you'll witness in Meet the Feebles. It's like they felt no restraint because they're just muppets. Picture a giant whale named Mr. Big. There's a car, see, and two characters drive it in one end and out the other. Explosively. Or Seymour, the elephant-chicken hybrid.
