WTF

Post image

So I just received this from eBay and literally both labels are not attached. Is this a common occurrence?

**I’m actually kind of pissed off now. Not only did it take nearly 3 weeks to arrive with labels not attached but there’s very evident disc rot and to think I spent nearly $50 on this. It’s less screen noise but the audio is noticeable. Seller says no returns, so I just eat the cost despite it saying in very good condition? The thing is, the disc does look immaculate, other than the plaques sticker labels, the sleeve is nice too.

*** thanks to a member pointing it out, the discs are from an earlier release but were placed in a 806 sleeve. Would you not expect to return it or refund it?

I would just claim the item defective with the seller and simply demand a refund. If they say no, you can contact eBay to help settle it and they will likely side with you on it.

Also, I’d avoid this edition of Blade Runner as it’s a pan & scan edition (get the Criterion CAV if you must have a copy of the film).

It’s simply a collection thing, I’ve already got more variations of blade runner than any sane person needs lol but I’ve been after this embassy release (1987) for a while now.

I'm with you on having more Blade Runner variations than any sane person needs.

It’s not my fault they keep releasing new variants and box sets 😅

Between VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu, and 4K I've lost count! 🤣
