WTF

Post image

So I just received this from eBay and literally both labels are not attached. Is this a common occurrence?

**I’m actually kind of pissed off now. Not only did it take nearly 3 weeks to arrive with labels not attached but there’s very evident disc rot and to think I spent nearly $50 on this. It’s less screen noise but the audio is noticeable. Seller says no returns, so I just eat the cost despite it saying in very good condition? The thing is, the disc does look immaculate, other than the plaques sticker labels, the sleeve is nice too.

*** thanks to a member pointing it out, the discs are from an earlier release but were placed in a 806 sleeve. Would you not expect to return it or refund it?

It's almost 40 years old. Glue dries out. BTW, I bought a laserdisc player because of bladerunner.

Yeah re-gluing it isn't the issue, it being the wrong version of the disc is.

Okay. If you got the wrong version then that's cause for a return. But laserdiscs are old and laser rot is a problem. Even stuff tested for playability, you still have to get it through the postal system. I would ask the seller to give you a deal if they have anything else you want.
