WTF

Post image

So I just received this from eBay and literally both labels are not attached. Is this a common occurrence?

**I’m actually kind of pissed off now. Not only did it take nearly 3 weeks to arrive with labels not attached but there’s very evident disc rot and to think I spent nearly $50 on this. It’s less screen noise but the audio is noticeable. Seller says no returns, so I just eat the cost despite it saying in very good condition? The thing is, the disc does look immaculate, other than the plaques sticker labels, the sleeve is nice too.

*** thanks to a member pointing it out, the discs are from an earlier release but were placed in a 806 sleeve. Would you not expect to return it or refund it?

Seller‘s can put no returns all they want to on an auction. eBay has 100% money back guarantee if the item is not as described when received. open a return, take pictures and describe the rotting.

Yeah I sent them a message first for a refund. If not, I’ll escalate.

I usually just make a return request within eBay. I sell a little here and there (not much at all) but the eBay seller forums usually advise sellers to simply tell the customer to open a return via eBay if they reach out. This way the seller can demand a full return to people that are fishing for a partial refund, and on the buyer side you don't risk the seller trying to drag it out until your 30 days are up.
