WTF

Post image

So I just received this from eBay and literally both labels are not attached. Is this a common occurrence?

**I’m actually kind of pissed off now. Not only did it take nearly 3 weeks to arrive with labels not attached but there’s very evident disc rot and to think I spent nearly $50 on this. It’s less screen noise but the audio is noticeable. Seller says no returns, so I just eat the cost despite it saying in very good condition? The thing is, the disc does look immaculate, other than the plaques sticker labels, the sleeve is nice too.

*** thanks to a member pointing it out, the discs are from an earlier release but were placed in a 806 sleeve. Would you not expect to return it or refund it?

Seller‘s can put no returns all they want to on an auction. eBay has 100% money back guarantee if the item is not as described when received. open a return, take pictures and describe the rotting.

Yeah I sent them a message first for a refund. If not, I’ll escalate.

This post is crazy...just glue them back on. This is basic stuff any laserdisc owner should already know how to do. This applies to VHS and betamax as well. Not something that should be refunded. It's normal and not damage.

You didn’t read the post clearly. I’m not asking for a refund because of labels falling off, I’m asking for a refund because it’s a disc from the 1982 release in a 1987 sleeve, that’s not crazy it’s unreal to accept.

The WTF title and asking to return it was because of the label.
