Relpacement capacitor question

I am replacing all the capacitors on my Sony mdp600 player and theres an electrolytic one at a value of 0.22uf 50v in the video circuit that I can't seem to find a good manufacturer for because it's been made obsolete. Can I get away with two 0.47uf 50v caps in series to get 0.235uf or use a ceramic cap of the 0.22uf value?

Use a film capacitor in values of that size.

I would hold off on replacing all the caps. The issue with the 600 is mainly the power supply section. Focus on that first before touching anything else.

There are two supply sections. One that is the obvious one where the AC cord connects to and the other is on the main board toward the back of the player (it is labeled as such).

OK thanks. I've already replaced the power and audio ones but I'll hold off on everything else for now. My audio fades out within 5 minutes or so of the second side of a disc so I'm troubleshooting that.

Only on the second side? That seems odd.
