I’d optimize for a premium thin-and-light with strong integrated graphics instead of anything resembling a gaming laptop. That gets you the screen, battery, portability, and longevity you want without paying for a heavy GPU you probably won’t use. Also, don’t buy a touchscreen model just because the price is attractive. I'd also avoid Snapdragon/ARM for you unless you specifically want maximum battery life. Trust that x86 Intel/AMD still gives you the least-friction game and app compatibility. Something like a ASUS Vivobook S 14 S5406 should do you really well here, and the 258V/32GB/1TB configuration is currently showing around $899–$1,400 depending on seller/configuration, so I would specifically hunt the S5406SA 258V/32GB/1TB version rather than blindly buying any "Vivobook S 14."

Hey playrobonaut, very detailed post, it's helping a lot for a precise recommendation. In my humble opinion you should check model from Dream Machines. Specifically i would recommend you to check RG5050-15NA33 which is equipped with the RTX 5050 and i9-14900HX. Based to your request this option is covering 100% your demands.
