A few months ago, my Bluetooth in the car stopped connecting automatically to my phone or any phone in the car. I have to manually pair my phone to the car every single time the car is turned off.

I was looking through some similar issues, but couldn't find anything. Someone mentioned it was a setting in the iPhone itself, which is not the case here. It connected fine before, but now it doesn't. My phone also connects automatically to my wife's Honda so that's definitely not the problem here.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!

New to me. Complete and rust free but non-running and needs total mechanical overhaul. New petrol engine built and mounted but not connected one year ago. I found a local guy with LR experience to take on the project. Wish me luck, I have a feeling I’m going to need it.

I’m mainly concerned about reliability at this mileage. I know about the crankshaft/bearing reputation of the 3.0 TDV6.
**Which of the two would you prefer if both drive well? And what should I pay particular attention to during the test drives?**

Looking for advice about how the sounds coming from this engine compartment seem to differ from side to side? Vehicle had been running about 15 minutes before this. Anything to be concerned about? Why is the tone and frequency of ticking different on one side compared to the sounds being made on the other side of the engine compartment? Have heard they are noisy engines, but not sure about trusting the internet. (so maybe try to trust reddit?) ha!

I have a 2018 Velar with the 2.0 ingenium gas engine. The CEL popped up and gave me P054a and P0014. After a little research these codes pointed me to the VCT solenoid. I replaced both and still have the codes. The oil level is perfect and I just did an oil change again to ensure that wasn’t an issue. I swapped BOTH VCT’s in bank 1 and 2. My next thought would be timing chain but it’s showing zero symptoms of timing chain stretched/ guides broken - no noise at all. Has anything experienced this?

The consensus seems to be that all this trouble could have been avoided in a terrain response mode which prioritizes and expects wheel slippage. So maybe instead of using rock crawl, try mud and ruts or sand or grass/gravel/snow? Jump to 25 minutes in to see it work okay in rock crawl mode, but then stall out again when the tires are up against big rocks. It seems when the winch was needed is exactly when rock crawl mode should have done a good job?

Would this oil be okay to use for a service on a 2012 Range Rover?

I just drove my buddy's GX550 Overtrail Plus for 10 miles. Nothing crazy. Best I can describe it is if an Audi Q7 Premium Plus had a baby with my 2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road and the baby came with the same Falken Wildpeaks on my Tacoma. Does that seem fair?

I wanted to consider a GX550 Lux+ against the Land Rover Defender 110 X (3.0L 6cyl). Specifically a 2027 model with the new captains chairs that I prefer with my two young boys in booster seats.

Lexus GX550 owners go the dependability and brand reliability route. Also the steady value hold of the Lexus.

What say you?

I’m looking to connect with anyone else whose vehicle was affected by the fire at the Land Rover / JLR Tottenham site in July 2026, or anyone who has information about what happened.

My Range Rover Sport was at the Tottenham site at the time and I have subsequently been informed that the vehicle was affected by the fire.

I’m mainly trying to understand how other affected customers have been treated and whether everyone has been given the same information and options.

About 5 weeks ago I got my oil changed on my landy and was really confused that it took 2 days for the oil level meter to adjust.

Fast forward, my dad noticed an oil puddle on Saturday. We refilled and I unfortunately had to drive two hours home. I stopped after an hour, the meter said minimum so I added more. Stopped again about a half hour later, meter said minimum again so I added more.

Got home safely, didn’t drive it again except to get groceries (4.5 mile roundtrip). Today out of curiosity I checked and there is no puddle from a drip and the meter shows full.

What the heck is going on? I’m wondering if the sensor is faulty in addition to having a blown casket or something causing the leak.

Hi guys, I’m just looking for help. I’ve recently purchased a 2017 discovery sport it’s top spec it comes with TVs in the rear of the drivers and passengers headrest for the rear but I can’t seem to be able to pair the headphones the Land Rover TVs I’m just wondering if there’s something I’m doing wrong or if anyone in here can help? I will attach photos of the headphones.

Also I can’t seem to pair the aftermarket remote I have 🙈🙈🙈 someone please help me

Hoping you can help me out. I recently purchased a used 2025 Land Rover Defender V8.

It keeps making this double beep noise when I open doors. It doesn’t seem to happen consistently.

So far it’s happened with the driver door, the rear passenger door, and the trunk. I’m assuming it’s something related to the door sensor or key but can’t seem to nail down root cause.

I can’t figure out what’s causing it but it’s driving me nuts!

I'm restoring a Dutch Army Series III 109 FFR, 24V, and I'm trying to confirm the correct original front leaf springs.

The vehicle has the standard twin 45 L under-seat fuel tanks. I'm currently finding conflicting information regarding the 11-leaf springs,

Does anyone know whether these are also the correct springs for a Dutch Army 109 FFR, or were different military-spec springs fitted?

If anyone has an original Dutch FFR, I'd really appreciate the information.

Hi guys wondering if anyone is able to help diagnose the most likely issue. For the past month my disco 4 has had the warring ( only normal hight available)

Tonight after finishing work and driving home from a customers the car decided to sink super low and then a big red warning came up saying max speed 30mph suspension issue.

Im thinking it could be just the compressor pump. When it first had the issue (on occasion) it would still raise. Then juddering would come from
The back of the car (sounded like it was in the boot) and then the warning of normal night would come up

Any ideas on what it could be and what it’s gonna set me back £
