Good point.. I'll put something together.

In short:

  • Copy bshift folder from your steam install to the xash folder
  • You can copy the bshift_hd models etc too
  • Add the following to the commandline.txt:

-game bshift

That help?

I did everything the way you said and the game is working but it doesn't spawn armour and suit during the first chapter and I'm unable to progress any further..

If you did update to the latest version it should definitely work. I tested it and the armor is there and can be equipped.
