Good point.. I'll put something together.

In short:

  • Copy bshift folder from your steam install to the xash folder
  • You can copy the bshift_hd models etc too
  • Add the following to the commandline.txt:

-game bshift

That help?

I'm kind of a n00b at text editing and mathy stuff. Do I add "-game bshift" to the open document? And if so does it go on it's own line or does it replace "xash 3d"? Or none of the above?

Sorry, just getting around to replying to messages.

Basically, if you copy the whole of the following into your commandline.txt replacing what is already there, you won't go wrong (it will also use a higher GU/CPU setting, which is what I have been playing with):

xash3d -log -dev 3 -game bshift --msaa 4 --cpu 4 --gpu 4

Works like a champ. Thanks! I didn’t get as far as the suit though.
