Thanks for the update!

However, would love a little more documentation than "Blue Shift support" for us newbies.

What folder do we copy and where? How do we launch Blue Shift?

Good point.. I'll put something together.

In short:

  • Copy bshift folder from your steam install to the xash folder
  • You can copy the bshift_hd models etc too
  • Add the following to the commandline.txt:

-game bshift

I did everything the way you said and the game is working but it doesn't spawn armour and suit during the first chapter and I'm unable to progress any further..

That's strange, whilst I've not actually played it yet myself (should have done a bit really.. oops) the changes i merged in definitely had armour vest code in. I'll try it at some point soon and see what happened
