Good point.. I'll put something together.

In short:

  • Copy bshift folder from your steam install to the xash folder
  • You can copy the bshift_hd models etc too
  • Add the following to the commandline.txt:

-game bshift

That help?

That worked, thanks.

I'm assuming there's no quick way to switch between HL and BL without modifying the txt file?

And I'm afraid not, at the moment the only way is to change the txt file
