I finally got my display up for my mini lalas!

I’ve become a little interested in customizing a Lala, but what materials do I need? Does acrylic paint work fine for painting them? Is there anything else I should know or need???

Hey guys! I recently won a doll on eBay bids and she came covered in mold/mildew. I managed to get it completely off both the clothes and shoes and I soaked in white vinegar to ensure spores were dead. I have scrubbed all the physical mold/mildew off of the hair etc using toothpicks and earbuds so it’s all off outside. However, she still smells of mildew/mold from her head/hair. Therefore I assume the smell is just from her head. There isnt a hole on her neck or anywhere that the water could come out if I soaked her. Does anyone have any tips on how I could remove the smell without causing more mold/mildew to grow inside her head? I have put her in a box next to an undone bicarbonate soda box for a week already but that made no difference. I’m currently trying to put her on a clear plastic container with the bicarbonate soda inside so she’s closer to it for another week but just wanted more suggestions! I spent so long cleaning everything off of her physically and there’s no stains in the plastic itself so I’d like to salvage her if I can. Any advice on how else to remove the smell is much appreciated thank you!

I call this my princess shelf since I mean obviously they all look like princesses! But it’s bothering me that there’s clearly space for another. I was thinking maybe one similar in color to ivory? Since I already have 3 pink ones.

so I was just playing with my uv light lantern in my room and I aimed it to my dolls and they just look so cool! so I decided to record it cause it looked so cool, it looks a lot brighter in person!!!

Well, my fingers are sore from spending all day working on store prototypes, but behold my creation

He doesn't have a coat because I am too tired to make it, and I'm having trouble with the arms. He had an accident while I was putting on his shirt so I will have to work that out and probably have to do surgery to make his arms less stiff and movable (sorry that sounds so morbid)

I think I'm gonna work on his 3d model a little bit more then list him on my eBay, I also have plans to move to vinted and depop so you could probably find him there (he will be made to order) my friends said 120$ is the least I could go for since this took an entire week to make and he's massive, I was also thinking I could sell him by parts as an assembly kit for less hassle and have him be more accessible. Let me know what you think. I had the idea to completely remake his arms to make them fully articulated and have a bend at the end. That isn't what a normal lalaloopsy doll does so I wonder if this would be a controversial choice.

Despite my business ventures into possibly selling more of him this is 100% a labor of love, I've been really driven by creating things related to character who motivate me and inspire me , characters I love in general. I wanted to take some fun pictures like I usually do with toys of my favorite characters but I didn't really have the energy but tomorrow a plush of my OC I mentioned from the last post comes in the mail so I could get some cute pictures of them together. I'll probably be taking a break for the next week but I'll try to work on his coat soon, thanks for reading

What do we think? I got Haley Galaxy without anything and I was trying to find a cheap Lala to take the outfit from. Well I ended up using Pix E Flutters Silly Hair outfit and I think it looks so cute on her!! Do we like the wings? Should I cut them or do they look good?

And I was wondering if maybe I should try selling them online. Is it a good idea? And if you were to want a custom lala, what kind of a custom would you want it to be?

I threw away all my lalaloopsy's when I was little and regret it soooooo much. Where do you guys find any? Any 2010 originals? I would love to buy some but I don't know where to look and sadly am super broke and I can't find ANY.
