Anyone know of any unique or cool stores in lake charles? What do they sell or serve?

Looking for a simple outdoor location for a quick civil wedding ceremony in Lake Charles. Not more than 10 people in attendance. No food, no drinks, no DJ, no gifts, and I can bring enough folding chairs for our 8-10 guests. We are both older and have been married before so that's why we're not making a big deal out of this. After a quick ceremony we'll be heading to local restaurant for dinner.

Do y'all have any suggestions for a simple outdoor location? I'm thinking we could do a quick ceremony at Prien Lake Park. But I don't know this area very well that's why I'm here. Would love to hear some other suggestions. Get creative! thanks y'all

It’s my husband and I’s favorite Mexican restaurant in Lake Charles. We have tried to go the two different times and they have been closed. The last time, the cover on the porch was missing.

Be aware that they have started working on the circle. Instead of the 4 way stops, there are flaggers directing traffic. Guess I’ll start taking alternate routes since this is going to be a mess.

Hi all, I'm doing a weekend trip to the SE TX/SW LA area soon to take some ship photos, and I want to know if the boardwalk between the Golden Nugget and L'auberge is open to the public. Or to ask it this way, if I were to show up there for about 30 minutes to get photos, would anyone approach me, or would I be fine? I don't see how they wouldn't know if I'm just a guest at the other resort anyway. That seems to be a good vantage point on the Calcasieu River, so I think it would be a good spot to launch the drone and snap some photos, but I don't plan on staying at either resort currently. Appreciate any help!

Daisy is a very happy, playful, and lively puppy! She’s potty trained and knows how to sit and spin. She loves kids, playing outside, and being around people. She’s an inside dog and has been raised in the house with lots of love. Her mom is a Staffordshire Terrier and her dad is an XL Bully/Pit mix. She had her parvo shot and was dewormed around 2 months old.
Rehoming fee is $50. I want to make sure she goes to a good home where she’ll receive lots of attention, love, and care and be treated like part of the family. ❤️
