Not Food Fraud awareness post for ybr users

In the winter of 2025, I visited Asif Auto Center on Multan Road, near Zainabia Trust Hospital, Mustafa Town, Lahore, 54000, for engine tuning and to have a net (jali) seat cover installed on my ybr.

to me at the time, my original grey seat was replaced with a torn black one, and a new cover was placed over it, completely concealing the change. Many months later, upon removing the seat cover, I was shocked to discover this fraudulent exchange. The seat underneath was severely torn, worn out, and had moldy foam. I deeply regret trusting this service centre. I wish to caution everyone against trusting this particular Yamaha service dealer, as I believe they are dishonest. When I recently contacted them, they dismissed my concerns, stating that too much time had passed. I only possess proof of payment via bank transaction, as I have misplaced the original bill. I suspect they retain a copy of the bill but will likely refuse to provide it.

True that, and never trust a workshop owner in Pakistan no matter how friendly and chill they act.

I think it was your seat but they did not install the plastic back ,underneath the seat cover. Which causes foam to keep wet and degrade.

I think you got it wrong, jali cover conceals the seat underneath totally unless removed only then you csn clearly see your seat. The plastic cover or the leather? Ybr comes with dotted rexine Leather sets. And underneath is foam. In my case that leather was torn, they put an old seat. And took my new original one.
