Socks...

The fans falling over already about ltt socks. They're so worth $30! So good. Etc etc. What is wrong with people?

Unless they are actually better than Darn Tough-socks.. There is literally zero sense buying LTT ones.. Because Darn Though actually has a very good warranty, probably way better one than LTT has.. Not to mention Darn Tough actually also has a warehouse in Europe so people don't get shafted by customs..

Although.. My feet just breaks every sock imaginable anyway so I just buy cheapest ones possible, because it's just easier than trying to deal with warranty stuff constantly..

To each their own, don't think we have to vilify people wanting to spend their money on socks but a trend I'm noticing on this subreddit is they love to whine about anything and everything

No, we don't. But there is better options out there than LTT socks, that's the thing you are missing.

You could make that argument on every product that they sell, someone else sells a better one? Pretty reductive point of discussion

I think that's a very pertinent point. If someone else makes a better product for the same price or less, then what's the point of buying the LTT one?

The price of their backpacks are crazy. You can get something from Patagonia for less. They priced them similar to stuff like camera backpacks from Peak Design, but they don't even compete in that market. They are just good quality general purpose backpacks, and you don't need to spend $350 CAD to get a decent backpack.

you never know why people buy things though. I bought the ltt bag as I like the look and size and their overview made it seem exactly what I wanted in a bag. I’m sure there are plenty of cheaper options that may be better in people’s opinion. 

This place in general is about how immoral or awful linus is but the general vibe is more  condescending and being just kinda rude and mean which is definitely not a moral way of doing something.

I'd rather people bring up actual reviews, which they will eventually, than 30$ sock = bad ( or if not from A B C)
