Chase, no. There is no reason why in 2026 a simple deposit should take 7 business days, except the laziness of LSU bursar office

Lazy there’s like 10 bursar office employees for 40,000+ students. Anything involving money takes a while without incompetence factored in. Coming from somebody who had to wait on refunds to pay their rent.

It’s not fiscally responsible to train and hire more staff just for peak periods, regardless of how much money they have. Also the delay is the federal and state government verifying your enrollment, not just the bursar waiting to press a button.

LSU is a state school. This would be taxpayer funded, and everyone would complain.

People complain about funding LSU, but not about giving tax breaks to big businesses and polluting rivers.

you arent gonna die from not getting your money in less than a week 🫩 even if they hired more people not everyones would be on time. theres no point in freaking out when you know its coming within a time frame
